The Nilgiri Mountain Railway also has the record of being the slowest train in India averaging 10 kmph. That means you can literally walk out from the train, have a sip of the famous Nilgiri tea and get back in the train without much difficulty. You could even try a race with this train on your bicycle. Quite exciting isn’t it.
